New Delhi: As preparations are on for a grand swearing-in of Delhi’s CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP government has received a special congratulatory message from the Dalai Lama who praised the government for its happiness curriculum.

Kejriwal is all set to take oath as the CM for the third consecutive time on February 16 at Ramlila Maidan. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who was among the first to congratulate Kejriwal on his thumping victory, has confirmed that she would attend the swearing-in ceremony. She will leave for Delhi on February 15 by Air India Flight 5:30 PM. She will be back in Kolkata on February 16 evening itself.

In his congratulatory note, the Dalai Lama, who inaugurated Delhi’s happiness curriculum, wrote, “I have deep admiration for the efforts that you and your government have made towards shaping better, happier human beings with improved values. These measures will have a positive impact on children’s overall education, as well as helping the poor to fulfil their dreams of improving their lives.”

“Through such initiatives, you are showing a path to the rest of India. This is important, as I believe India is the only country that can successfully combine this ancient knowledge with modern education and ensure that people know how to achieve lasting peace of mind. The positive response I have received from young Indians with regard to exploring such opportunities is a sign of hope and encouragement,” the note read
