New Delhi: As all eyes are on the counting of votes in New Delhi which began at 8 AM, AAP supporters, even outside Delhi, are excited, upbeat and hopeful. The Delhi office of Aam Admi Party was decorated with blue and white balloons. Supporters even came up with posters pitching Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal against PM Narendra Modi, for the PM post. AAP supporters in Kanpur offered prayers.
A young fan arrived early in Kejriwal’s residence dressed up as Kejriwal, with CM’s signature moustache and muffler.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is confident of repeating its success of 2015 when it stormed to power winning 67 of the total 70 seats in the national capital. The party is banking on its work over the last five years like free electricity and water, an upgrade of the government-run schools and the introduction of mohalla clinics.
