Yes, the IPL 2018 winners Chennai Super Kings have finally touched down Chennai. As expected, the fans went into a tizzy as they watched the champions walk out of the airport. This is CSK’s third IPL title in the history of the tournament and is a big occasion also because they are returning to this stage after a gap of two years. At the outset of the IPL season, CSK supporters faced another problem as the CSK home matches were shifted to Pune from Chennai. But that did not deter the CSK fans, who are crazy and make it a point to root for their team from any venue they play in. CSK beat SunRisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets to clinch the title, thanks to an unbeaten 117* by Shane Watson.

So yes, it seemed the ‘Dad’s Army’ just proved the doubters wrong. Meanwhile, Shane Watson picked up the Man of the Match for his splendid batsmanship. Faf, too contributed with the bat during the 1st Eliminator when CSK needed someone to take them through. So, it has been a memorable IPL for the yelloves.
