When Manan Singh, a resident of Delhi, ordered a pack of condoms from quick commerce platform, Swiggy Instamart, little did he realise that it would cause him a major embarrassment at his office. In a reddit post, Singh narrated the embarrassing ordeal, saying that he asked the order to be delivered at his office, and when the package arrived, he asked the delivery guy to leave it at the reception.
However, when Manan went to collect the order at the reception, he was shocked to find out that Swiggy had delivered the pack of condoms in a transparent plastic bag, leaving him embarrassed.
“Swiggy Instamart ruined me!” Singh wrote on r/delhi on reddit. “Buying condoms isn’t a big deal, but I usually order them from Blinkit because they send them in a discreet brown package. This time, I decided to try Swiggy Instamart while I was at the office, assuming they’d use the same kind of packaging,” he said.
“Like an idiot, I told them to drop it off at the office reception desk. To my horror, the package was left there in plain view, right in front of the receptionist. Now, the entire office probably think I do seggs at work!” Singh wrote while sharing a picture of the packet of condoms delivered in a translucent plastic bag.
The post, which has since been deleted by the OP for reasons unknown, had quickly gone viral on Reddit when it was shared, garnering over 9.5k upvotes and more than 1,000 comments.
Users on the platforms reacted to Singh’s posts and shared their experiences and thoughts on the matter, even some hilarious responses.

“Who in the right mind would order condoms at work?” asked another Redditor.
“Ordering condoms at office at front desk with staff will trigger POSH policy if person receiving it felt uncomfortable, repeated instances can have consequences,” a user cautioned.
“Better than Amazon fresh. Amazon once handed a condom packet without any packaging to my maid. And like an idiot I had only called her to collect it since I was in washroom. She probably thought I did it on purpose or something. FML,” a fourth said while sharing a similar experience.
“Zepto did me dirty once, I ordered condoms once at my pg, when I went down to take the package the delivery boy literally took it out from the discreet brown package and clicked a photo of it in front of my landlord,” narrated a fifth.
