This day commemorating mother's was first celebrated in 1908 when Anna Jarvis decided to hold a memorial for her at St. Andrew's Methodist Church, Virginia.
Google is celebrating Mother’s day with a creative doodle that features a mother and child dinosaur duo walking and looking happy and colourful. The doodle can be seen as a way of showing how mothers often lead the way for their children and nurturing them in a protective manner.
Mothers day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May and it is a day that honours all the mothers in the world. This custom was started in the U.S. and then other countries adopted the same. Many countries celebrate in on the second Sunday of May and also in March.
Mothers day is celebrated to remember and acknowledge all that our mothers do unconditionally and without any expectations.
