Bhiwandi, April 11: A major fire broke out at two different places in Bhiwandi on Tuesday. While one happened at a residential building with 150 people trapped, the other occurred at a powerloom factory in Bhiwandi area. Nine fire tenders and five water tankers have been sent to the spot to rescue the trapped. Around 150 people are reportedly trapped inside the residential building. As per initial reports, 25 people have been rescued from there. Reportedly, the fire broke out in the ground floor and later spread to other floors of the four-storey complexes. The video shows fire-fighters helping people out of the building. As of now, reason for the fire could not found. Authorities have asked Mumbai fire department to help in the rescue operation. Operations are underway to bring the fire under control and more details are awaited in the incident. Shahnawaz Hussain, BJP Vice-president tweeted prayers for the people trapped in the building.
