Mumbai Rains Live: Mumbai is experiencing incessant heavy rainfalls, leading to severe waterlogging in residential areas and roads. IMD has issued a red alert for multiple districts in Maharashtra, predicting heavy showers, thunderstorms today. A high tide alert has also been issued for Mumbai’s coastal areas. Mumbai experienced extremely heavy rainfall on Monday and Tuesday, causing severe waterlogging and traffic congestion. BMC, Mumbai Police issued traffic advisories, urging residents to avoid coastal areas and stay indoors.

– Leave homes only if necessary and take precautions.
– Authorities issued emergency number, 100 for residents.
– BMC requested people to restrict themselves to going out unless necessary.
Mumbai is likely to receive moderate rain till July 27.
