Nalanda, Mar 23: The death toll in the early morning blast at an illegal firecracker factory in Nalanda district of Bihar rose to five on Friday. Twenty-five injured people have been rushed to the hospital for treatment. A team of police and fire tenders are on the spot, trying to bring the situation under control.
The factory, where the blast has been reported from, is located in Jalalpur area of the district. The exact cause of the blast has not been ascertained yet.
Eight member team of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) are on the accident site in Nalanda to investigate the matter.
