Narendra Modi meets President Pranab Mukherjee

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called on President Pranab Mukherjee and discussed issues of national and international importance.

New Delhi, Sep 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called on President Pranab Mukherjee and discussed issues of national and international importance. While there was no word from the Rashtrapati Bhavan or the Prime Minister’s office, sources said Modi is believed to have apprised the President about the flood situation in Kashmir valley.

The meeting comes in the backdrop of the Prime Minister’s Japan trip and a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott during which the two countries signed the civil nuclear agreement.
