Pak government releases over Rs.430 billion for development schemes

The Pakistan government has released over 430 billion rupees for different social sector development projects against a total allocation of 800 billion rupees, the Ministry of Planning release said Monday.

Islamabad [Pakistan], Feb.27 (ANI): The Pakistan government has released over 430 billion rupees for different social sector development projects against a total allocation of 800 billion rupees, the Ministry of Planning release said Monday.

According to Radio Pakistan, a sum of over 111 billion rupees has been released to National Highway Authority for infrastructure and development projects against its total allocation of 188 billion rupees.

Similarly, over 100 billion rupees have been released for water and power sector projects.

The government has also released over 52 billion rupees for temporary displaced person. (ANI)
