Pakistani youtubers: In a shocking turn of events, Pakistan’s well-known YouTubers, Shoaib Chaudhary and Sana Amjad, known for frequently posting videos on YouTube praising India, have reportedly been missing for about two weeks. Various reports have indicated that the efforts to trace their whereabouts have been totally unsuccessful. Reports suggest that a major crackdown on Pakistani YouTubers in Lahore may be connected to their disappearance.

In a significant development in the case is the removal of Sana Amjad’s video titled “Modi Sada Sher Hai” from her YouTube channel. For those unversed, the YouTube video praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his visit to Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370. The removal of the video has fueled widespread speculation and heated discussions on social media platforms.

FIA books Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Gill, YouTuber Pirzada for propagating anti-state activities

The Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Islamabad has booked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill and YouTuber Moeed Pirzada in separate cases for allegedly promoting anti-state activities and disseminating propaganda against the state and its institutions on social media, The Express Tribune reported.

The two suspects who reside abroad have been found involved in anti-state activities and propaganda. The probe will determine the involvement of other accomplices.

The FIA has been carrying out inquiries into their activities on social media. After confirming the allegations, two separate cases were lodged under sections 9, 10, and 11 of the PECA-2016 Cyber Crime Act on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Muneeb Zafar. The charges include carrying out a propaganda campaign against the government through TikTok accounts, the report said.
