While defending the nuclear missile program, Asif said that it is Pakistan’s internal matter, and the country will make the final decision. He also criticised western countries for their silence on the Gaza crisis, where more than 45,000 people have lost their lives in Israeli attacks.

Pakistan is clueless after the United States restricted its nuclear missile programme. The country failed to understand how to react to the superpower. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s defence minister Khwaja Asif has warned the United States over nuclear weapons. 

According to Pakistani News channel ‘Aaj’ report, the defence minister said having long-range missiles and nuclear weapons are Pakistan’s right and it is important for the nation’s security. 

He further stated that if the United States is under the impression that Pakistan will compromise on the issue, it is mistaken. While defending the nuclear missile program, Asif said that it is Pakistan’s internal matter, and the country will make the final decision. He also criticised western countries for their silence on the Gaza crisis, where more than 45,000 people have lost their lives in Israeli attacks.

The United States had imposed a ban on three companies which were associated with Pakistan’s nuclear missile programme. Jonathan Finer, Deputy National Security Advisor of the United States, had termed the missile programme as a threat for the United States as the missile was capable of hitting the target beyond South Asia. 

Earlier, Asif had targeted Trump’s envoy for special mission nominee Richard Grenell who advocated for the release of former Pakistan’s Prime Minister , Imran Khan. During an interview, Asif said Pakistan can’t be threatened whether it is Grenell or anyone else. 

He said that the nation would give a befitting reply if anyone attempted to weaken its integrity. He also downplayed the issue, stating that he had never heard of Richard Grenell before his appointment
