Security forces have demolished the home of Umar Mohammad, the terrorist who carried out the car bombing near the Red Fort in Delhi. This action was carried out at the home of Umar Mohammad alias Umar ul Nabi in Pulwama.

In a major action the security forces in Pulwama have demolished the house of the blast accused terrorist Umar Mohammad alias Umar ul Nabi. Umar Mohammad is accused of reaching Delhi from Faridabad and being involved in the bomb blast outside the Red Fort. Umar un Nabi is absconding since the Delhi blast and security agencies are searching for him. His family was being questioned after the blast. After identifying his house in Pulwama, the administration took action and demolished it. Meanwhile, the police is continuously questioning his family to find out his network and associates.
Umar was associated with terrorist organizations
At least 13 people were killed and more than 20 were injured in the blast that took place in Delhi on Monday evening. Investigation revealed that Umar Mohammad himself was driving the Hyundai i20 car that exploded at the time of the incident. The blast took place near a traffic signal near the Red Fort on Netaji Subhash Marg, a national heritage area of Delhi, causing panic in the area. According to initial information received by the investigating agencies, Umar was associated with terrorist organizations for a long time. During his posting in Faridabad, he was active in suspicious activities and was building a network in Delhi-NCR. After the blast, he fled from the scene, following which a massive search operation was launched against him.

2,900 kg of explosives recovered
Security agencies said that the purpose of demolishing Omar's house in Pulwama is to send a strong message to the terrorists and their helpers. Earlier also similar bulldozer action was taken against the accused involved in the conspiracy of Pahalgam attack.
Another big revelation came during the investigation of Delhi blast. Police have recovered about 2,900 kg of bomb making material and sophisticated weapons. This material was found from the hideouts of two associates of Omar, Doctor Muzammil and Shaheen Saeed. Both were associated with medical profession, but were secretly helping Omar in carrying out terrorist activities.
