New Delhi: In a significant milestone set to revolutionize India’s railway sector, a new rail service between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to commence soon. After the commencement of the services, travel between the UAE and India will be much easier. According to the reports, a proposal has been made to build a 1,200-mile (approximately 2,000 km) long underwater train between Dubai and Mumbai.

It will be a different experience altogether, travelling under the water. During the journey, people will be able to see the underwater world, but for those with claustrophobia, it could be terrifying.

UAE’s National Advisor Bureau Limited has proposed this project to provide a new transportation facility between India and Dubai. Additionally, the completion of this project will strengthen the trade relations between the two countries.

Here are some of the key details:

• According to the reports, the speed of this train will be between 600 to 1000 km/h
• The journey from Mumbai to Dubai to be completed in just 2 hours.
• This underwater train project will not be cheap and will require an investment of billions of dollars.
• The train will not only enhance passenger convenience but also create a new way to transport crude oil and other goods from Dubai to India more quickly.
• Discussions on this project are currently underway. However, if it gets approved, efforts will be made to complete it by 2030.

This train will give tough competition to air services. After the launch of this train, the traveling between the two countries will be extremely easy. People will be able to reach from one country to another in just 2 hours.
