UPSC Result 2018: UPSC Civil Services 2017 Final Exam Result Declared at upsc.gov.in, Hyderabad’s Anudeep Durishetty Tops
Anudeep Durishetty is a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation from BITS, Pilani. He is currently posted as Assistant Commissioner of Indian Revenue Service and is undergoing training at the National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics in Faridabad.
UPSC Civil Services Result 2018: UPSC Civil Services 2018 examination results have been announced. Durishetty Anudeep, a candidate from Hyderabad has topped the UPSC Result 2018. The candidate belongs to the OBC category. The second in the rank was Anu Kumari while the third was Sachin Gupta. There was a total of fifteen men and eight women who made it to the top 25 list.
The other names featured in the list were Atul Prakash, Pratham Kaushik, Koya Sree Harsha, Ayush Sinha, Anubhav Singh, Saumya Sharma, Abhishek Surana, Siddharth Jain, Ashima Mittal, Sagar Kumar, Neha Jain, Shivani Goyal, Sikha Surendran, Utkarsh, Abhilasha Abhinav, Abhijeet Sinha, Badole Girish Dilip, Varjeet Walia, Akhil Pilani, Tapasya Parihar and Prudhvitej Immadi.
Anudeep Durishetty is a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation from BITS, Pilani. He is currently posted as Assistant Commissioner of Indian Revenue Service and is undergoing training at the National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics in Faridabad. But he always aspired to join the IAS. “It is like a dream come true. I always wanted to be an IAS officer,” he told PTI.
UPSC Civil Services result 2018 was announced on Friday evening by the Union Public Service Commission. The full results can be checked on the UPSC’s official website: http://www.upsc.gov.in/
The UPSC Civil Services 2018 written examination was held in October-November, 2017 and the interviews for Personality Test were held in February-April, 2018. Reportedly, the UPSC has recommended 990 names for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’, in accordance with the results.
