New Delhi: In a major boost to India’s rail connectivity, the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train connecting New Delhi to Srinagar is all set to launch this month. This state-of-the-art train offers a faster and more comfortable travel experience, catering specifically to tourists and business travelers.
The travellers must note that this train will travel from New Delhi to Srinagar and cover a distance of over 800 kilometers in less than 13 hours. According to the reports, the train will depart at 7 PM from New Delhi railway station and will reach Srinagar next day at 8 AM. The train will make limited stops at key stations, including Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jammu Tawi, and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
To recall, the Vande Bharat Sleeper train was first launched by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in September 2024. Prioritizing speed, comfort, and efficiency, this new train service aims to elevate the standard for overnight travel in India, revolutionizing long-distance journeys.
