WATCH: Passenger Bus Catches Fire In Chhattisgarh’s Raipur; No Casualties

A tourist bus, witb 35 passengers onboard, moving from Jagdalpur to Raipur in Chhattisgarh caught fire on Saturday afternoon.

Chhattisgarh News: As many as 35 people aboard a passenger bus had a lucky break after the vehicle which was plying from Jagdalpur to Raipur in Chhattisgarh caught fire and was reduced to a burning hunk of metal on Saturday afternoon.

According to the police, a tourist bus with 35 passengers onboard, was moving from Jagdalpur to Raipur when it caught fire on Saturday afternoon, adding that police and fire services personnel arrived at the scene and doused the flaming bus and rescued the passengers.

Videos of the burning bus have gone viral on social media sites showing the vehicle engulfed in raging flames and completely gutted in the fire.

A senior official the fire was apparently caused due to the air-conditioning (AC) pipe in the bus bursting due to some malfunction.

No injuries or casualties were reported in the fire and all the passengers are completely safe, he said.
