10000 Pakistanis deported from Iran due to…, this Muslim nation also takes action, not UAE

Iran has recently deported 10,000 Pakistani citizens. Now, Pakistani authorities have blocked the passports of those citizens who were attempting to use the route to enter Europe illegally.
According to sources in the Pakistan Interior Ministry, the officials have blocked the passports of 10, 454 Pakistani citizens who were arrested by the Iranian officials while crossing illegally into their territory.
The arrested citizens were handed over to Pakistani officials by Iranian authorities at the Taftan border in Balochistan’s Chagai district.
According to a report published in Dawn, people of Pakistan are using unfair means to enter Europe, highlighting the alarming rise in such cases from January to December 2023. Over 62,000 Pakistani nationals were arrested by Iranian authorities between 2020-2024. Among the arrested people, most of them belong to Pakistan’s Punjab province. Of late, Iran deported 5000 Pakistani citizens from its country.
As per sources, the government of Pakistan has already blocked 2,470 passports of citizens involved in drug-related crimes in the UAE. Additionally, at least 1,500 passports of individuals deported from Iraq have been blocked. Over 4,000 passports of individuals detained in Saudi Arabia have also been blocked for a period of seven years.
