Enjil: At least two people including a child were killed and two more left injured in yet another blast at an election rally of a Parliament member in Afghanistan on Saturday. Earlier, around 12 people were killed and 32 injured in another explosion at an election rally of Nazifa Beg in Takhar province when a motorcycle bomb went off during the campaign rally. In July, the Independent Election Commission (IEC) of Afghanistan had announced that the parliamentary election in Afghanistan will be held on October 20 and the presidential elections will be held on April 20 next year.

Around 2,500 candidates are running for 249 parliamentary seats.
