New Delhi: At least 4 people died and three people have been critically injured on Saturday in a shooting at a private club in Brooklyn, New York. Emergency services have rushed to the spot.
According to reports, the incident took place at around 7 AM local time at Triple A Aces, an ‘after hours’ club on Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, injuring six men and one woman. The club was only open for private and social gatherings.
Four victims were declared dead immediately, while three wounded survivors have been taken to the nearby Kings County Hospital and University Hospital Medical Center, officials of the New York Police Department reported.
The NYPD said that the motive behind the shooting does not come clear immediately. However, it is suspected to have resulted from a spike in gang violence.
No arrests have been made for the shooting yet, however, two people have been called in for questioning at a Brooklyn police station. Further investigation is underway.
