Leading portal Aljazeera quoted Omar Zwak, spokesperson for the provincial governor as saying, “The blast took place around 12 noon local time (08:00GMT). Civilians and military are among the wounded. There is no report about exact number of dead.”
A couple of days ago, a judge was killed and three other civilians wounded in an explosion in Nangarhar’s provincial capital city of Jalalabad. The provincial government in a statement had said the explosion after a magnetic bomb planted in the vehicle of a judge went off, the Khaama Press had reported. The statement added that the judge serving with the preliminary court of the anti-corruption Sher Rahman was killed in the explosion and three others, including two of his brothers, were wounded.
