Kabul, Jan 27: A huge blast hit the Afghanistan capital Kabul near many foreign embassies and government buildings in the Sadarat square, in front of MoI old building, on Saturday. A suicide attacker detonated his explosives in a crowded place in Kabul city. The suicide bomber detonated the explosives in front of second check point ministry of interior, according to the reports. AFP reporters heard a loud explosion that rattled the windows of their compound and photos posted online purportedly of the blast showed a huge plume of smoke rising into the sky. The ministry of public health confirmed that at least 18 wounded in explosion that tore through Kabul City. Although there are no reports of casualty, many are feared dead in he Kabul blast. No terror organisation has yet taken responsibility of the attack. The Kabul blast comes a week after a deadly attack on the Intercontinental Hotel in the city.
