Beijing, July 26: A blast outside the US Embassy in China’s Beijing has left several people injured. Smoke was seen outside the gate compound.
Photos and video clips of the same also showed police blocking the road partially with eyewitnesses gathered in the same compound.
No injuries have been reported as of now. Neither the cause of the blast is known. Several eyewitnesses were seen recording videos and snapping while men in military uniforms were standing guard at the cordon.
The United States Embassy is located in northeastern Beijing. The new facility opened in 2008 and had a dedication ceremony attended by then-US President George W. Bush.
