Big embarrassment for China during Zhuhai air show after its tank VT4…..;  bad news for Pakistan too because…

The Chinese fighter tank VT4, developed by the country, caused embarrassment during the airshow. According to reports, the tank broke down and got stuck at the event. Even the authorities were unable to remove it in time. It was supposed to be presented to foreign buyers, but it broke down, causing major embarrassment for China.

China showcased its modern weapons and artillery warfare during the Zhuhai air show in the month of November 2024. The country displayed its fifth generation stealth fighter jets-J-35 and J-20 to the world. But, there was bad news too for dragons which came from the air show. 

The Chinese fighter tank VT4, developed by the country, caused embarrassment during the airshow. According to reports, the tank broke down and got stuck at the event. Even the authorities were unable to remove it in time. It was supposed to be presented to foreign buyers, but it broke down, causing major embarrassment for China.

Pakistan has also purchased VT4 tanks from China. The Chinese have sold these tanks to Nigeria and Thailand. Nigeria has used these tanks against Boko Haram and ISIS terrorists. According to a report from a defense blog, these tanks failed to perform when they were about to be showcased to the world. The tank was displaying its capability on rough tracks when the incident took place. 

The author of the Defense blog said that the incident with China’s VTS tank was similar to what happened with China’s Type 96-B tank in Russia. This tank broke down during the Biathlon in Russia. On the other hand, the defense analysts have suggested Algeria to reconsider purchasing these tanks from China. The incident came as a jolt for Pakistan as the country has bought 679 VT4 tanks from China. Pakistan has named the tank-Haider.
