Kabul: A blast has hit a mosque in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan, reported news agency Reuters At least 12 people have been wounded in the blast, it added, quoting local residents..
Atal Shinwari, a resident of the area, said the blast occurred at around 1:30 pm when explosives apparently located in the interior of the mosque detonated.
A Taliban official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed the blast and said casualties were feared but gave no further details.
