Ukraine Military Plane With 14 On Board Crashes Near Kyiv, Five Dead
The emergency service said it was still determining how many people died in the incident.

Russia-Ukraine Latest News Today: A Ukrainian military plane carrying 14 people on board crashed on Thursday and five people were killed in the incident, the Ukrainian police and the state emergency service said, as its armed forces sought to defend against a massive Russian military operation in the country.

The emergency service said it was still determining how many people died in the incident. As per preliminary reports, the incident occurred about 20 kilometres (12 miles) south of Kyiv, amid reports of several locations around the city coming under attack.
Earlier in the day, the Russian forces broke into the north of Kyiv region, Ukraine border guards were quoted as saying by AFP.

So far, nearly 40 people have been killed in attacks by Russian troops in Ukraine. The Ukraine Army had earlier claimed that a Russian plane was shot down over Luhansk Region.
Till now, Russia has seized control of two villages to the east of Ukraine after President Putin announced major war on Ukraine.
On Thursday morning, the Russian forces invaded Ukraine by land, air and sea in the biggest attack by one state against another in Europe since World War Two. The crisis started when Putin announced a military operation in Ukraine to defend separatists in the Donbas region of the country.
