While promoting the idea of attracting foreign talent to the United States, Trump said that the H-1B visa program would continue. However, reports suggest that his statement has not gone down well with his “America First” (MAGA) supporters, who have branded his comments a “betrayal.” Trump’s Treasury Secretary has issued a clarification and tried to calm the situation.

Florida Republican Anthony Sabatini wrote on X, “This is insanity — we are going to lose the midterms badly. We’ve never seen an administration fall apart so completely in its very first year. There’s no reason for this except to please donors and special interests.”
