Berlin: Two people were on Wednesday after two gunmen opened fire outside a synagogue in Halle, Germany, news agency ANI reported.
Several people are said to be injured during the incident.
One person has been arrested so far in connection with the shooting.
Following the incident, the surrounding area has been cordoned off.
The gunmen shot with a sub-machine gun and also threw a grenade before fleeing the scene, dailymail reported.
Police have advised the locals to stay in their homes as the hunt to the catch the accused is on.
