Islamabad: A show of solidarity for Kashmir was staged on Wednesday in Pakistan. The Pakistani politicians have been competing to prove themselves as the true well-wishers of Kashmiris. To win the confidence of the people, every politician is resorting to harsh rhetoric against India. The Islamic parties in Pakistan are leaving no stone unturned in this effort.
Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman held a rally in Lahore where he spewed venom against India. He stated, “Kashmir is Pakistan’s lifeline, and we cannot let it remain in the hands of Hindu Brahmins.” During his speech, he accused Indian intelligence agencies of carrying out targeted assassinations in Pakistan and called for a decisive response similar to that of the US and Canada. He also urged diplomatic efforts to isolate India on the global stage.
