Tel Aviv: With Pakistan and China ramping up their nuclear missile capabilities, India has taken a decisive step to strengthen its defence. New Delhi is installing Russia’s advanced Voronezh radar system in Karnataka’s Challakere, within the DRDO campus. This powerful radar boasts an impressive range of 8,000 km, extendable to 10,000 km, enabling India to monitor activities deep within Pakistan and China. The high-tech radar is designed to detect ballistic missiles, stealth aircraft, and other aerial threats with ease, allowing India to respond in real-time through its air defence systems. Positioned in Karnataka, approximately 1,800 km from China, the radar’s extended reach ensures comprehensive surveillance across the region, making it a vital addition to India’s strategic defences.

Relief On Returning Home

After returning to their homeland, the three hostage women hugged their family members. Emily’s mother stated in her statement that she is very happy to see her daughter home after a depressing 471 days. Doron and Romi’s family have also thanked all the parties involved in the ceasefire agreement.

The Ceasefire Agreement

As per the terms of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages in the next six weeks in a phased manner. In return, Israel will release 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees from its jails.

The agreement states that for every Israeli hostage, the Israeli government and army will release 30 Palestinian prisoners. Notably, on Sunday, Tel Aviv released 90 Palestinians.

This can be seen as a crucial step towards peace and harmony after a year-long bloodshed.
