Havana: Three people were killed and 172 injured in a powerful tornado that struck Havana, news agency ANI reported Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel as saying. People have been warned to stay indoors after the tornado wreaked havoc in the Cuban capital damaging homes and flooding coastal areas. Power cuts have left the city in darkness.

Ambulances were spotted rushing about Havana, while emergency sirens blared across the city, a news portal reported. Cuban President mourned the loss incurred in the wake of the tornado.
