China’s plan to corner are yet again exposed. In the latest move, China is secretly preparing for its actions along the Line of Control (LAC) near the Arunachal Pradesh border, which is about 100 kilometers from the Tawang area. Meanwhile, China is also negotiating with India. This means that China is playing the trick of having Ram in the mouth and a knife in the side. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has also described India’s relationship with China as very complex. Let’s understand the whole matter in Wednesday’s Big Ticket.

India-China border communication is very active

According to the Times of India, quoting news agency Reuters, China’s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that India and China discussed border-related issues. The two sides held active and in-depth talks on the control of the western section of the China-India border. The statement further said that both countries agreed to maintain contact.

The ministry, quoting Reuters, said, “It was agreed to maintain communication and dialogue through military and diplomatic channels.” Meanwhile, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that active communication was agreed upon between the two countries. This development comes just days after the resumption of direct flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou. Flight services between the two cities resumed on Sunday, marking the first direct commercial connection after a five-year hiatus.

Where is China making this big preparation?

The report said that construction of new fortified shelters at Lhunze, about 107 km from the strategic town of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, gives China the option to deploy fighter jets and several drone systems in its arsenal at the front lines and reduces the reaction time for the Indian Air Force to respond to any aerial threat from its airbases located in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
