“Just landed. India was great, trip very successful. Heading to the White House. Meetings and calls scheduled today. @CDCgov, @SecAzar and all doing a great job with respect to Coronavirus! During his two days event, the US President took part in a host of events and engagements which including a roadshow, visit to the Taj Mahal, addressing a mammoth crowd at the ‘Namaste Trump’ event at Ahmedabad. On the second day of his visit, he also met Indian industrialists and had interaction with them.



During his visit, both the countries strengthened their defence cooperation, and bilateral ties giving a nod to an agreement under which India will get USD 3 billion of advanced military equipment including Apache and MH-60 Romeo helicopters.

On the second day of the historic visit, the US President attended a banquet hosted by Presidnet Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Several Indian dignitaries including Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers of several states, among others were present.
