NEW DELHI: The Indian Navy and the Pakistan Navy will conduct separate naval exercises in the Arabian Sea starting today, 11 August. This information was shared by defence sources on Sunday, 10 August 2025.

The navies of both countries have issued NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen), restricting air traffic in their respective territorial waters for the duration of the exercises.

A NOTAM is issued to alert pilots and air traffic controllers of airspace restrictions during specific operations, such as military drills.

“Indian Navy warships would be carrying out drills in the Arabian Sea on August 11-12. Pakistan Navy has also issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for carrying out its own naval exercises in its waters,” said defence sources.
