As per Iranian state media, IRGC is preparing for a major retaliatory offensive. The force stated that it will carry out "the most massive and powerful offensive operation in the history of the Islamic Republic," in which it will target Israel and US military bases across the Middle East.

The Israeli Air Force on Sunday stated that its fighter jets carried out precision strikes on the Middle Eastern country's military targets, reportedly killing seven seniors Iranian defence officials. The deceased include Ali Shamkhani and Mohammad Pakpour. However, Tehran has not confirmed the attack yet. According to the Israeli Air Force, missiles were launched from its land toward the Middle Eastern country, with the defence system successfully intercepting the drone and missile attacks.

The Israel Air Force stated took to X and informed that the precision airstrikes hit hundreds of targets 'of the Iranian terrorist regime'.
"Hundreds of Air Force fighter jets, under precise guidance from the Intelligence Directorate, have attacked hundreds of targets of the Iranian terrorist regime," the Israeli military said.
Which Senior Iranian Military Figures Were Killed In Israel's Precision Strikes
According to Israel, out of seven confirmed dead, one was Ali Shamkhani, a senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. He also played a crucial role in the Middle East country's defence decision-making. Israel said that its forces also targeted Shamkhani in last year's conflict.
Military Strikes To Continue On Iran
After confirming the death of Iran's supreme leader, President Trump said that the killing of Khamenei will not stop the US military strikes. "heavy and pinpoint bombing" would continue "as long as necessary" to achieve what he described as "PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD," he wrote.
