Trump has been one of the most powerful leaders in US political history, often claiming to have mediated ceasefire talks between India and Pakistan. Recently, he has been attacking India on various grounds. The 50 per cent tariffs on imports from India to the United States came into effect on Wednesday is one such example.
Donald Trump’s health has frequently made news headlines, generating widespread discussions and speculations. But the debate over the mental and physical health of US President Donald Trump has come up again. Recently, two psychologists have publicly claimed that Trump is showing a “dead ringer telltale sign” of an unusual brain disorder. Moreover, they indicated that this symptom is not remaining static, but is slowly worsening over time, which has implications for his overall cognitive health.
The Clinical psychologists, Dr. Harry Segal and Dr. John Gartner, recently announced on their program Thinking Trump that the 79-year-old man exhibits clear signs of dementia. Furthermore, the psychologists Dr. Harry Segal and Dr. John Gartner have raised concerns about Trump’s psychomotor abilities.
On the latest episode of Shrinking Trump, Dr. Gartner stated, “Some of the more evidence that we’ve been talking about recently has been his psychomotor performance, that we’re seeing a deterioration in his motor performance, which also goes with dementia because with dementia there’s a deterioration of all faculties, all functions,” reported Hindustan Times. This comes as Trump has been seen “frantically” trying to hide the back of his hand amid concerns about his health.

Later, Dr Gartner stated, “One of the things that one of the neuropsychologists that we were working with last year pointed out that is almost a dead ringer telltale sign of frontotemporal dementia is something they call a wide-based gait, where you have a sort of one of your limbs, one of your legs, you kind of swing it in a semicircle.”
The psychologists then referenced the recent Alaska summit between Trump and Putin, displaying two videos where Trump appeared to have difficulty walking steadily while shaking hands with the Russian leader on the red carpet. Dr. Gartner remarked that Trump was “weaving all along the carpet.” He further clarified that Trump’s right foot was pushing him to the left as he walked. Hestated,”So, as it’s swinging, he’s veering left and then he overcorrects and moves to the other side of the carpet and then it happens again.” Nevertheless, Donald Trump has continuously affirmed his cognitive abilities. In April, after his routine medical examination, Trump stated that he scored the highest on a cognitive test. But given that Dr. Segal and Dr. Gartner have stated that this test has really simple tasks
