Israel Iran War LIVE updates: Iran fired a barrage of missiles at Israel, state television announced early on June 15, as the rivals exchanged fire for a third day. “A new wave of Operation Honest Promise 3 began a few minutes ago,” Iranian state TV reported at around 03:10 a.m. (2340 GMT Saturday), while broadcasting live images of Israel. Earlier, Israel launched blistering attacks on the heart of Iran’s nuclear and military structure. It deployed warplanes and drones previously smuggled into the country to assault key facilities and kill top generals and scientists. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned on Saturday (June 14, 2025) that there would be a “more severe and powerful response” if Israel continued to strike his country. “The continuation of Zionist aggression will be met with a more severe and powerful response from the Iranian armed forces,” Pezeshkian said.
A fierce war is ongoing between Israel and Iran. Both countries are launching barrages of missiles at each other, resulting in severe damage on both sides. There are concerns that the conflict may escalate further in the coming days. Defense experts warn that this war could engulf the entire Middle East region. If the conflict drags on, it will also impact India, as the country has strong trade relations with both nations.
Israel targeted Iran’s energy infrastructure, defence ministry headquarters, and alleged nuclear-related sites, while Iran fired around 200 missiles and explosive drones at major Israeli cities, including Haifa, near the country’s largest oil refinery.
Pakistan’s defence minister, Khawaja Asif, said that all Muslim countries must unite against “Israeli aggression”, according to Dunya News.
Israel’s defense minister warned Iran on Saturday that “Tehran will burn” if it continues firing missiles.
“The Iran US-talks scheduled to be held in Muscat this Sunday, June 15, will not now take place,” Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said in a post on X, adding that “diplomacy and dialogue remain the only pathway to lasting peace.”
