London, June 4: In a horrific incident in London, a van mowed down several people while many were stabbed around the nearby restaurants on Saturday evening, leaving several dead. The London police termed it as a terror attack and confirmed at least two deaths. The police said that while the van mowed down several people, at least three people stabbed people around the Borough Market near the London Bridge.

The death toll is expected to rise as the police have shut down the London Bridge and are carrying out investigations. London Mayor Sadiq Khan called the attack ‘deliberate and cowardly’ and said that the Metropolitan Police were responding to the ‘horrific terrorist attack’.
