Madrid: Man Kills Mother, Stores Her Body Parts in Tupperware Containers

The incident came to fore after a friend of the woman asked police to visit the family home as that she hadn't seen her for about a month.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 26-year-old man from Madrid has been taken into custody for allegedly killing his mother and chopping her remains. Spanish police said that the woman’s remains were stored in different Tupperware containers.

The incident came to fore after a friend of the woman asked police to visit the family home as that she hadn’t seen her for about a month.

Speaking to news agency AFP, a national police spokesman said that on entering the house, they found the woman, dismembered with her remains stored in various Tupperware boxes.

Police said the suspect had earlier been arrested 12 times, for various reasons.

As per the local media, the suspect had been involving in cannibalism since long but police never confirmed it.
