London, May 23: At least 22 people were killed and 59 others injured after a major blast occurred at Ariana Grande’s concert in the Manchester city of United Kingdom. The British police said the explosion at Ariana Grande’s concert is “being treated as terrorist incident”. According to police, they received reports of an explosion at the Manchester Arena at about 10.35 p.m. The cause behind the explosion at Manchester Arena is yet to be known, but the North West Counter Terrorism unit is treating it as a possible terrorist incident. “Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena last night. There are a number of confirmed fatalities and others injured,” the Greater Manchester Police said in a statement. Following the explosion, train service was suspended at Manchester’s Victoria Station. A second suspect device was found near the place of first blast, after which were moved away from the scene and a controlled explosion has taken place. The blast triggered panic and chaos during the concert, a spokesperson of Ariana Grande said she was unhurt in the incident. Visuals from the scene showed bloodied victims being helped by emergency services.
