Sheikhpura, Pakistan: An employer on Monday chopped off hands of his employee for demanding salary in Pakistan, Dawn reported. As per the reports, Rana Israr had employed Akram from Manawala to look over his business four months ago. Even though Israr was not paid after his first month of work, he waited till the next month. But his employer still did not pay him. When Akram finally felt has he is being cheated by his employer, he asked for his salary. In return Israr chopped off his hands. Akram is a father of two children. Following the brutal incident, the victim approached District Police Officer Sohail Zafar Chattha who agreed to probe the case. Police is currently investigating the matter. After which the incident reached Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif who has taken a not of it. He has also sought a report from the district police officer regarding the incident. Earlier this year, an Indian employee’s hands were chopped off by her Saudi employer. Kasturi Munirathinam, 55, was later brought to India after the External Affairs Ministry intervened.
