Mumbai, Nov 18: French ambassador to India Francois Richier disclosed a number of facts which his country’s intelligence has determined about dreaded terror outfit Islamic State (ISIS). Richier revelaed a concerning fact that many of the fidayeens and suicide bombers hired by ISIS in Syria including Muslim women.

“We have noticed that a rising number of women have joined ISIS in Syria. It is a matter of concern, but nothing new that ISIS is hiring them,” Richier added. The women folk in the region are either forced into prostitution or hired as sex-slaves by the number of jihadist groups active in the region. There is no law and order and no scope for raising civil rights abuse in the war-ridden region of Iraq and Syria. (ALSO READ: Islamophobia is the real strength of Islamic State (ISIS)! Despite the growing disdain towards Muslims in the Western world following the terror attack in Paris, Richier assured that his country would not allow Islamophobia to spread in their nation. The French ambassador also reiterated several times that there is no relation between Islam and the action of the extremist group.

“Fact is these terrorist groups are claiming to be representing values of Islam,we are sure that they do not represent Islam. It should be highlighted that organisations like ISIS are betraying very value of Islam,” he said.

Richier said that the French government would not harass Muslims living in their nation. “Many countries have sizeable population of Muslims, vast majority of them are quiet and good citizens. We don’t count them by religion,” he added.
