His mother played an important role in his life. While Modi’s father Damodardas Mulchand Modi has passed away, his mother Heeraben Modi still supports him.
While talking about his mother’s struggles and hardship when they had to do the dishes of the neighbours during Modi’s childhood. Modi could not bear the though of his mother’s struggles in the past and broke down in tears.
