Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity!-

In a significant development, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has confirmed that Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire, effective immediately. Taking to social media, Minister Dar stated: “Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect.” He further emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to peace in the region, while firmly upholding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

This announcement comes after several days of heightened tension and cross-border drone and missile attacks that endangered both military targets and civilian areas.

US President Donald Trump also said India and Pakistan have agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire,” amid both countries launching strikes and counter-strikes against each other’s military installations. “After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE,” he said in a post on social media platform Truth Social.

The post continued “Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence.
