Pakistan, with help from China, has successfully launched a new satellite named PRSS-01. This satellite was sent into space from China’s Xichang Satellite Launch Center. On July 31, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry shared the news on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The ministry said that this satellite will help Pakistan get clear, high-resolution images 24 hours a day. It will also help keep an eye on important projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

In an official press release, the Foreign Ministry said: “This is a big achievement for Pakistan in the space field. The satellite will help us monitor many areas including city planning, infrastructure development, disaster management, farming, food security, environmental protection, and water resources.”

China-Pakistan friendship grows stronger

The partnership between Pakistan and China continues to grow. China has already invested in many areas of Pakistan’s economy, and this satellite launch further deepens their strategic friendship. Various media repots also suggest that during India’s Operation Sindoor, China provided notable support to Pakistan.
