Pakistani girls furious over Saudi Arabia decision over Mecca and Medina, say ‘infidels will dominate…’, the decision is to…
While they agreed with the adoption of modern policies and opening up of Saudi Arabia economy by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Pakistani girls expressed their dislike for his move to allow investment in Mecca and Medina.
Pakistani girls are unhappy with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman's decision to allow foreign investments in Mecca and Medina.
Saudi Arabia recently announced a major policy change, allowing foreign entities and individuals to invest in the country. The Capital Market Authority (CMA), Saudi Arabia’s market regulator said that foreign nationals and entities can invest in publicly listed companies that own real estate in Mecca and Medina subject to certain conditions, adding that the decision has been taken to attract global investors.
Saudi ‘decision’ will harm Muslims, Islam
However, the groundbreaking decision by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who also serves as the nation’s Prime Minister, has infuriated many in the Muslim world, including Pakistanis, with many Pakistani young women criticising the Saudi Prince’s decision, which they claim will harm Muslims and Islam in the long run.
Nimra Ahmad, a Pakistani YouTuber, spoke to several young women who condemned the Saudi Arabian government’s decision, asserting that Saudis should realise that Muslims face discrimination around the world, and as such Islamic nations should not make policies that could cause further harm to the Muslim community.
‘Non-Muslims shouldn’t be allowed in Mecca, Medina’
While they agreed with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s adoption of modern policies and opening up of Saudi economy as a good policy decision, the Pakistani girls expressed their dislike for his move to allow investment in Mecca and Medina, two of Islam’s holiest cities, claiming that it will result in these cities being “dominated” by non-Muslims.

“Saudi Arabia, besides being a Muslim majority country, holds special significance for Muslims, because its the birthplace of Islam, and is home to our holiest cities, Mecca and Medina. Non-Muslims should not even be allowed in these holy cities,” a young woman is heard saying in the video.
‘Kaafirs will dominate Islam’s holy cities’
Another girl noted that Prophet Muhammad fought long battle, and worked hard to establish Islam in Mecca and Medina, and allowing non-Muslim “Kaafirs (infidels)” to freely invest in these places would endanger his life’s work and the sacrifices he made for Islam. “If non-Muslims are allowed a free hand in Mecca and Medina, they may start promoting their own religion in Islam’s holy cities,” one girl said.
They agreed that all nations need to maintain cordial relations with each other, but foreign companies owned by non-Muslims should be allowed to set up shop in Mecca and Medina. Several young women also raised questions about Saudi Arabia’s close ties the United States, and the desert nation’s stance on Israel, stating that Riyadh is ruining its reputation by aligning with anti-Muslim forces.
