Russia’s Sukhoi Su-57 stealth fighter jet, also known as the ‘Felon,’ participated in China’s International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, showcasing its capabilities. Russian test pilot Sergey Bogdan praised the Sukhoi Su-57, calling it a ‘superior’ aircraft compared to other fighter jets, including China’s J-35A.
However, Chinese visitors at the exhibition praised China’s aircraft, the Chengdu J-20 and Shenyang J-35A. Bogdan highlighted the Su-57’s advantages in stability, manoeuvrability, and global prospects. However, the stealth fighter jet has not been seen since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, and some experts believe its long-term prospects remain uncertain.
Russia is now looking for buyers for its fifth-generation fighter jets. Senior Russian officials said that the attendees were impressed by the aircraft.
Social media reports suggested that the Chinese fighter jet Chengdu J-20 stole the show. It was an opportunity for China to showcase the J-35A, but reports indicated that visitors were more interested in the J-35A, which made Russian aviators a little nervous.
Adamant Russian test pilot Sergey Bogdan rejected the claims about Chinese stealth fighter jets, standing by the Su-57 and stating that none of them come close to its capabilities.
