A passenger plane carrying at least 44 people has crashed in South Sudan. According to initial reports, a passenger plane of the South Supreme Airlines crashed at Wau Airport in South Sudan. 44 people who were on board are believed to be killed in the crash.
Pictures of the crash show the bulk of the plane has been destroyed after the crash. Firefighter, however, rushed to the plane when it crashed, but failed to save anyone. According to a report of Independent.UK, all 44 people on board are feared dead.
A radio station in Juba, however, reported that some people have been pulled out alive from the debris of the plane and rushed to hospital. A local official told the BBC the plane was coming from the capital, Juba. More details are awaited.
