New Delhi: Days after eight coordinated blasts rocked Sri Lanka, a fresh blast was on Thursday heard in Pugoda town which is at a 40 Km east of Colombo. No casualty was reported till the time of filing this report.

Notably, a string of eight powerful blasts, including suicide attacks, struck churches and luxury hotels frequented by foreigners in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. The Islamic State has claimed the responsibility for the attack. The death toll has risen to 359 so far.
