New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s camaraderie with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held in Tianjin, China drew global attention and exposed Donald Trump’s unease. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has now issued a statement, clearly indicating that the United States is under pressure for the first time, while India’s strategy seems to be working successfully.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a statement saying, “The partnership between India and the United States is continuously reaching new heights, and it is the defining relationship of the 21st century.” Highlighting this, Rubio further said, “This partnership is not limited merely to diplomatic or economic ties, but is rooted in the longstanding friendship between the peoples of both nations.”
In his statement, Marco Rubio said: “The partnership between the United States and India continues to reach new heights, making it a defining relationship of the 21st century. From innovation and entrepreneurship to defense and bilateral relations, it is the enduring friendship between the people of our two countries that fuels this journey.”
Rubio further added that this month, the US is focusing on the people, progress, and potential in India that are advancing cooperation between the two nations. He specifically emphasized shared priorities such as innovation, entrepreneurship, defense, and bilateral connectivity. In addition, Rubio urged the public to be part of this journey through the hashtag #USIndiaFWDforOurPeople.
